Entry Level Outside Sales Representative
Position Summary:
The Entry-Level Sales Representative is responsible for representing FRID + Russell and selling our products and services to customers within a defined territory. The main objective of the position is to gain new business and to grow existing business on a continual basis. Creative thinking, communication skills, interpersonal skills and a drive for results are critical for success in this position. Hours are 8:30 to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
| • Perform cold-calls and maintain and submit call logs |
| • Identify and act on sales opportunities |
| • Provide guidance and recommendations to customers |
| • Research new and unfamiliar products |
| • Periodic customer visits to maintain and grow existing business and relationships |
| • Participate in monthly sales meetings |
| • Continually building your knowledge through attendance at training seminars and trade shows |
Requirements:
| • Previous customer service experience is required |
| • Previous outside sales experience would be an asset |
| • Expertise at building effective relationships with first-level decision makers |
| • Familiarity with sales environment |
| • Must be action-oriented (drive for results) |
| • Effective oral and written communication skills |
| • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with conflicting timelines |
| • Strong decision making and problem solving |
| • A positive, flexible work approach |
| • Personal transportation to/from customer locations within a designated sales territory |
| • Working knowledge of PC systems, as well as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook

Compensation:
We offer a base salary plus uncapped commission, a comprehensive health and benefits plan, company profit sharing and a number of other company perks.
